On January 2nd 2021, a group of low rated rappers released a song on Youtube titled Embakasi West.
The 4 minutes long song celebrates the achievement of Embakasi West Member of National Assembly George Theuri.
It praises him for non-existent cleanliness in Embakasi West, dilapidated roads building and a scandalous swimming pool.
The youths in the video appear dirty and hungry.

The Lyrics are not thought-through as at one point it refers to Embakasi West Constituency as being Umoja 1, Umoja 2 and Umoja 3 forgetting to mention Mowlem and Kariobangi South/Uhuru.
No doubt George Theuri has slightly changed the way Embakasi West looked but instead of demanding more, youths are being used to entrench mediocrity of roads that last until the next rainy season, non-existent garbage collection routine, and joblessness.
On a scale of 1-10, 10 being the most, and for a political song that seeks to have the sponsor re-elected, Embakasi West scores a 3.

It is a bit good with the last two rappers, the male and the lady. But the rest of it, including the video, which should have been shot in black and white to hide the dirt that is Umoja Estate, is whack.
