The Kenya Urban Roads AUthority (KURA) will evict Bevalyne Kwamboka, a lady that went viral selling chips along outering road.
“This is unauthorised and an infringement to pedestrian rights, the footbridges and walkways are meant for pedestrian passage and not any form of business,” reads an excerpt of the statement.
Kwamboka went viral on social media when she invited Kenyans to buy the fried potatoes from her roadside kiosk.
She even invited the attention of Milicent Omanga and gaming firm Odibets.
Kura would not however comment on the encroachment of pedestrian walkways by traders and welders near Mutindwa footbridge and other areas along outering road.
‘If Kwamboka is evcted, w want all traders evicted’, a resident told Umoja News
