Embakasi West MP George Theuri and his competitor Mark Mwenje have agreed to a peaceful election.
“We choose peace and tolerance. Come August 9th only one person will be declared Mp Embakasi west. Let no property be destroyed nor blood be shed at the expense of anyone ascending to power. God will give Embakasi west the leader they deserve. Today together with my worthy competitor we agreed to conduct a peaceful campaign, Embakasi west we declare Peace”, Theuri wrote
A few weeks ago, rival youth allegedly belonging to the two politicians clashed in Umoja Estate, property was destroyed, a death was reported, though we could not confirm.
The peace declaration was witnessed by police officers at the Buruburu Police Station.
