A building under construction in Ruaka has collapsed Thursday Morning.
The six-storey building collapsed over a neighbouring residential home whose occupants were sleeping at the time of the incident.

Emergency responders are already on the scene.
“A building under construction has collapsed in Ruaka, near Fortune Club area this morning . The 6 story building has sadly collapsed over a neighboring residential home. Ambulance team already on site and rescue operations under was,” St John Ambulance tweeted at 6am this morning.
This is second building to come down in the country this week.
On Tuesday, a building under construction collapsed in Kasarani, Nairobi killing at least three people.
The blame for such should not be pushed to the Citizens, but the Government.
Kenyans keep losing lives while the officials who approve these buildings get promoted, drive top of the range vehicles and enjoy hefty salaries.. They move on to approve the next substandard building.. How they don't get interdicted is a miracle
