The Kenol Petrol Station near Mesora has rebranded to Rubis.
The rebranding took over two weeks to complete.
Buruburu residents often refer to the place Kenol Stage, and this will now have to change.
In 2019, Rubis Energy acquired Gulf Energy and KenolKobil petrol stations.
Though rebranding has been slow for some areas, the company said it spent Sh2.4 billion for the exercise.
Rubis Energy Kenya is the third biggest oil marketer with a market share of 10.73 percent, behind Vivo Energy (26.52 percent) and Total Energies (17.7 percent), data from the Petroleum Institute of East Africa shows.
Its French parent is Rubis Energie.
In April the Kenyan govt planned to deport Rubis CEO Jean-Christian Bergeron for “giving priority to export loadings while the local market was left to suffer intermittent supply.”
