Parents whose kids have fever complain that the wonder drug is not working anymore.

The Baba Dogo road-based manufacturer was not contacted for comment.’
According to the online medicine sales portal, MyDawa, Cetamol syrup contains paracetamol which is an analgesic (pain reliever) and anti-pyretic (fever reliever). It also relieves minor aches and pains due to headaches, common cold, toothache, flu and sore throat.
The medicine is used for children below the age of 12 years with different dosage.
The dose may be repeated every 4 – 6 hours when necessary (maximum 4 doses in 24 hours)
The precautions include; Hypersensitivity to paracetamol or any other component of the product. Caution should be observed in liver conditions. Stop using Cetamol if Pain gets worse or lasts for more than 5 days or Fever gets worse or lasts for more than 3 days. Taking more than the recommended dose may cause hepatic toxicity.
