Nairobi Governor Sakaja Johnson yesterday shared how he has performed in his first 100 days in office.
The scorecard which ranked six issues as per his manifesto was shared as a reply to a Twitter user who had posed a question.
“I need to see what Sakaja has done in his 100 days in office and don’t show me the “karibu Nairobi” billboards,” Okuon Mourice – @OkuonM asked.
Sakaja shared the poster beneath the above tweet showcasing areas in Mobility, Community, Environment, Finance and Economic Planning, Health services and other areas.
1. Mobility
Sakaja claimed that his administration has rehabilitated over 44 kilometres of road within the county.
2. Community
Over 1500 streetlights have been installed maintained and replaced across the city.
3. Environment
On the environment, the governor stated that there’s been a 250% increase in collection, especially solid waste to the tune of 3200 tonnes
4. Finance & economic planning
Sakaja said that 163 revenue streams have been automated under NairobiPay.
NairobiPay is the digital revenue collection portal for the county.
5. Health Services
On health care services, Governor Sakaja said that over 230 computers have been distributed to health centres to enable easier processing of NHIF claims.
The governor also noted that over 7500 community health workers are employed and paid promptly.
