Embakasi East Member of National Assembly Paul Ongili aka Babu Owino is the best performing in Nairobi County.
In a research conducted by Mizani Africa, the legislator tops with 74.3%.
He is followed (62.4%) closely by Dagoretti South MP John Kiarie.
Embakasi West lesgilator Mark Mwenje comes third at 58.2%.
On the top five, Westlands MP Timothy Wanyonyi comes last at 56.9%.
Newcomer Beatrice Elachi is among the top five at 57.2%.
Nairobi Governor
Babu Owino has been fronted as a possible successor to Nairobi Governor Johnson Sakaja.
Sakaja who comes from the rival UDA Party sailed easily after Westlands MP Timothy Wanyonyi pulled out of the race.
It appears one has to take their chance once it presents itself and never look back.
Both Wanyonyi and Babu are in the same party, ODM.
It would be interesting to see how this plays out, now that opinion polls are starting to come out.
The Nairobi Gubernatorial contest in 2027 is definitely one to watch.
