There’s danger at the Mutindwa footbridge and other foobridges on Outer ring road.
The bridges that were done by Kenya Urban Roads Authority remain unfinished as wire mesh was not put on the sides of the ascending and descending platforms. This remains open and a potential hazard to young school-going children.
The 13 km stretch of outer ring road has 11 footbridges put up at a cost of Sh880 million by Kura-contracted Chinese firm Sinohydro Tianjin Engineering Limited.
However, as compared to the footbridge on Thika Road, the outer ring road one are unfinished in two ways.
