A resident of EMbakasi West which covers Umoja 1 and 2 Estate, Tena, Inner core, parts of Kariobangi South and Buruburu phase 1, and Mowlem (near Dandora) started a discussion on Twitter targeting the works of area MP George Theuri.
The single tweets which was retweeted multiple times pointed to the fact that the MP hs been on a road renovation cycle every six months.
“1yr to Election ndio @GeorgeTheuri ana Amka? @umoja_news Moi Drive in Umoja is Currently being ReTarmacked at 22:00 at Night. Friday morning Residents will awaken to a freshly Tarmacked Moi Drive,” the resident identified by the Twitter name Anthony J Muraya wrote.
Soon, this opened a can of worms.

“Just from the look of things, this is not how to tarmac a road by all standards. Can’t these idiots learn a thing or two from the Chinese!,” Kenyanese added.

Umoja News has always insisted how the whole of the Umoja Estate, the centre of Embakasi West can be cabro-paved with good roads and drainage, but all that is lacking is a committed leadership.
They are doing it all wrong. It won't last to see the elecrion day.
