It is the end of the road for Double M bus company as debts have piled to unsustainable levels.
Express Connections Bus Services, which owned the famous “Double M” buses, will be auctioned off.
Philips International Auctioneers advertised the property owned by the corporation for sale yesterday in order to recover an undisclosed bank loan. The land is 1.767 acres in size.
Mary Wangari-Mwangi manages the Double M fleet of buses that run throughout Nairobi and its vicinity for Express Connections.
Two office buildings, a generator, a cafeteria building, a go-down used as a garage, an ablution facility, and a sentry are among the structures built on the property.
On the land along Jogoo Road, there is also a petrol station, Ola Energy Petrol Station.
