Two days ago, an identified man who was jogging around Moi Drive in Umoja Estate collapsed near Sango Pub Junction and died a few minutes later after being rushed to hospital.
The man is said to have fallen near the Oloiboni Hotel and started breathing heavily, he was wearing a face mask.
Good Samaritans, careless for their safety, rushed to the scene trying to resuscitate him. Two ambulances came to the scene but left him there.
Details are sketchy but speaking to a doctor Umoja News established that working out while wearing a face mask is dangerous as it impedes the right amount of oxygen that the body takes.
‘His death might not be related to Covid-19, bu that cannot be ruled out. He was wearing a mask and that is a no-no while working out or doing heavy work;, said the Nurse who did not wish to be named for fear of victimisation.
