A spot check by Umoja News yesterday revealed that traders whose stalls were demolished at Mutindwa area are now building new ones on Sonko Road along Bidii Primary School wall.
The market was recently demolished to pave way for construction of a Railway Station by the Kenya Railways Corporation (KRC).
In July 2018, Bidii Primary school complained to the Nairobi County Government over the serious crime the market posses to the pupils.
It was then demolished in the wee hours of the morning of 20th July 2018.
The market which used to exist on the land now occupied by Sonko Road (whole of it) has been demolished several times but keeps coming up like a phoenix.
The stalls along the wall were demolished in 2018 due to concerns over criminal activities such as selling drugs to school kids and prostitution.
