About the DC Umoja
Deliverance Church Umoja was founded 39 years ago on 20th May 1984. After a week of crusades and outreach in the neighbourhood, the first Sunday service was held under a tent pitched in an open field next to Umoja market, under the leadership of then Pastor, now Bishop J.B. Masinde. About forty families from DC Eastleigh had volunteered to pioneer the ministry with him.
DC Umoja main church is in Umoja Innercore. Over the years, the church has grown into One Congregation in Multiple locations, opening two more campuses on Kangundo Road and in Umoja 3.
