The president said none of the newly recruited police officers should use their money to buy uniforms.
“I do not expect what has been happening in the past to repeat itself,” he said during the Tuesday event.
“These officers have been going to look for uniforms and buying them with their own money in all manner of places”
He said each officer will get their requisite uniform, which he expects to be of good quality that meet the standard.
