Shop Attendant In Eastleigh Stabbed, Robbed Of Sh200,000

A 30-year-old man in the Eastleigh neighbourhood in Nairobi is nursing injuries after he was stabbed by unknown assailants last evening.

The man told investigators that he had just closed shop when he was ambushed by the robbers who demanded all his valuables. While walking home the man who is a shop attendant said that the robbers stole Sh200,000 from him as well as his mobile phone. Amid a scuffle, the man was stabbed several times in the stomach as the assailants fled aboard a saloon car.

The injured was quickly rushed to a local hospital and is in stable condition. A manhunt for the six assailants is ongoing.
