The fire along Outering Road started at around 5 pm from a residential building in Umoja’s Stella Area.
Makuti pub formerly Jam Rescue restaurant has burned down completely.
Several other business premises have also been burned to the ground.
The cost of the damage is in the tens of millions.
Three fire engines from the nearby Kangundo Road fire station have been used to put out the fire.
Several burning houses within the vicinity could not be reached because of constricted road networks.
