A bus belonging to the Umoinner Sacco was involved in an accident in Nyahururu on 28th February 2021.
Dexter, the heavy graffiti-ated mini bus was traveling to Nyahururu carrying over 30 passengers when it rolled several times leaving scores injured and one person dead.
The reports about Dexter were unclear; Umoja News is here to clarify.
The person that dies was a KBC journalist, Simon Karutha.
The driver is said to have escaped from the accident scene immediately afterwards. Those that sustained injuries are currently receiving treatment at the Nyahururu Referral Hospital.
Last year, a racing match between another killer Umoinner bus, Mastermind, and Dexter was caught on video.

Police banned Mastermind for 6 months, but it got back on the road before the expiry of the ban and liked two more people along Jogoo Road.
