Deputy President William Ruto today commissioned the Umoja Estate ICT Hub located at Kwa Chief, in Umoja 2.
Ruto who was accompanied by several leaders aligned to his TangaTanga faction of Jubilee Party commended the area MP George Theuri for ‘investing in infrastructure that increase access to technology and education’, as ‘,it is decisive in preparing young people for a winning future where they are ready to compete in the global marketplace’.
The DP also opened the Science block comprising of two labs and 6 classrooms at the Peter Kibukosya Secondary School a few meters away from Kwa Chief.
Both projects were funded by the Embakasi West National Government Constituency Development Fund (NG-CDF) for the financial Year 2019 – 2020.
Increasing access to technology and investing in education infrastructure are decisive ways to prepare our young people…
