The website to the bookmark site SportyBet is now offline.

“We are currently working on resuming operations in Kenya. All funds are secure and will be accessible to users as soon as possible,” the message that greets users when they type the url to the website.

Umoja News understands that the site’s management is resolving a tax issue with the Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA).

The website was put offline to enable business reorganisation.

The company was refunding money to punters on its platform last week.

Hello, apologies for the inconvenience you are facing, we are aware of the issue and our concerned team is working to resolve the issue, kindly be patient as we work on this. Thank you!
