The Friends of Nairobi National Park have released the number of animals knocked dead along Mombasa Road.
The number includes animals from the Nairobi National Park killed between the black spot stretch of Green Park and Chumvi.
A total of 129 animals lost their lives in 2022:
Giraffe – 10
Zebra – 89
Wildebeest – 13
Hyenas -5
Eland – 2
Serval Cat – 1
Aardwolf – 1
Impala – 3
Hartebeest – 5
The Friends of Nairobi National Park (FoNNAp) are a non-profit membership society founded in 1995. The society is dedicated to nurturing and preserving the biodiversity within Nairobi National Park.
