Deputy President William Ruto is expected to commission a Science block and ICT hub in Umoja Estate, Embakasi West.
The science block comprises of twin laboratories and six classrooms at the Peter Kibukosya Secondary School, whereas the ICT Hub and Chief’s office is at Kwa Chief.

Both projects have been funded by Embakasi West National Government Constituency Development Fund (NG-CDF) for the financial year (FY) 2019- 2020, this is according to George Theuri, MP for the constiuency.
The science block and classrooms will improve learning at the academic institution, whereas the ICT Hub will host a number of businesses that targets mostly the youths in the area.

Theuri invited constituents to the event which will also culminate into a political rally where the Deputy President will do a people empowerment drive, giving out handouts, wheelbarrows etc.
The two projects are in Umoja 2 ward which is controlled by the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party. The Member of County Assembly (MCA) for the area is Joseph Ndonji.
The Jubilee party legislator is affiliated with DP Ruto side of the party.
The events will start at 9 am.
