Eight suspects charged with the Sh500 million Fuliza Fraud at Safaricom have been granted a Sh1 million cash bail each.
Chief Magistrate Susan Shitubi gave them an alternative Sh2 million bond plus one surety each.
The Magistrate observed that bond should not be commensurate to the charge or should not be lower but the bond should be what the accused can afford to enable them attend trial.
