Part of the flock of sheep that was stolen from a farm belonging to former president Uhuru Kenyatta was found in Kayole.
According to Kileleshwa MCA Robert Alai, the thieves were nabbed by police while painting the 17 sheeps.
A call was later made and the thieves were let go.
“The people who raided the Northlands farm were busted while painting the sheep along Kangundo Road. While police were processing them to take them to the cells, Kayole DCIO radioed them and told them to release them as he had orders from above. Kayole DCIO and the IG knows it,” Robert Alai wrote

The sheep that were stolen from Kenyatta family farm are of the Dorper breed.
According to sources, averagely, a fully grown pure Dorper sheep costs KSh 45,000 for a ram, KSh. 25,000 for the ewe and KSh 6,000 for a lamb.
The Kenyatta family lost livestock and property worth millions.
