The firm didn’t issue any statement but punters were happy that the site was back.
SportyBet went offline to sort issues of tax arrears with the Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) amounting to Sh1.5 billion.
Some bettors accused the firm of not giving them time to withdraw their deposits, before going offline.
SportyBet confirmed that fact that punters funds were stuck in its website.
Hello! We are actively working to resume operations. All funds are secure and will be accessible to users as soon as possible. Thank you!
